Independent Development will set up a phone conversation to go over your requirements for the new site. If you prefer to talk in person, this can be arranged. During our meeting, we will answer any questions, give suggestions, and brainstorm. By the end of the meeting, we will have a clear plan for the site, and a list of your requirements. At that point, we will be ready to provide a quote based on your needs.
You will be provided a formal written quote with itemized project tasks, description and prices. If you decide to move forward, simply fax the signed quote and provide 1/2 the project fee for a deposit. We accept checks and all major credit cards.
Within one week you will be sent a design mockup for the site design. This is a flat image (JPG) which will illustrate our concept for the design of your site. You are given unlimited mockups and revisions. This is the time to try new things and make changes. When
you are 100% satisfied with the design, and you have given approval, we move on to site construction phase.
Independent Development developers will build your site based on the specifications agreed to in the quote, and the design approved in the prior step. Note: This is when we will need your written content, such as text and photos.
We will show you the completed site on a temporary server, for your approval. Often seeing your content online will prompt changes. Sending all your changes in at one time will speed up the process. Once you are satisfied with your new site, you will pay the balance (final 1/2 of development fee) and we will make your site "live".
